Over 1,200 Attend Fairway Canyon Recreation Center Grand Opening Party

CHINO, CA. — When a top-selling master-planned community by SunCal Companies unveils a highly anticipated, state-of-the-art recreation center, it makes headlines. When that community attracts more than 1,200 people from across Southern California to celebrate such an event, it makes history. Fairway Canyon* in Beaumont achieved both on Saturday, September 16, when it hosted the most exciting party of the year…the Grand Opening of the Canyon Club recreation center!

“Over 1,200 people attended the Grand Opening of the Canyon Club, which practically elevates Fairway Canyon to legend status,” said David Soyka, Director of Marketing for SunCal Companies. “To have that kind of attendance for a single community event proves that SunCal knows how to create master-plans that emphasize quality of life and recreational opportunities—a place where families truly want to live. We are thrilled with the success of this event and even more thrilled to see our unique vision for Fairway Canyon finally realized.”

During the Grand Opening, families cooled off at the resort and competition-style pools, kids played in the splash park, and everyone enjoyed free food, entertainment, and a tour of the fitness center. Several lucky partygoers even won prizes such as a dream weekend getaway, a Sony VAIO laptop computer, and rounds of golf at the PGA of Southern California Golf Club at Oak Valley. Needless to say, everyone walked away from the Recreation Center Grand Opening with smiles on their faces!

“We love the Canyon Club,” said current Eagle Crest resident Mike Urban, who brought his wife Sherry and two children—four-year-old Kyle and two-year-old Ashley—to the celebration. “We love the fact that there will be an elementary school in the community, and we knew there would be lots of kids here.”

Ben and Heather Gray, along with their daughters Emma, 7, and Ansley, 4, also fell in love with the community amenities at Fairway Canyon. “Ben likes being able to golf close to home,” said Heather. “We also felt that Fairway Canyon was a good community with good schools nearby.”

Families like the Grays and Urbans will have access to a variety of activities from world-class golfing at the adjacent PGA of Southern California Golf Club at Oak Valley to resort amenities at the Canyon Club. The Canyon Club makes up the social center of Fairway Canyon with a state-of-the-art fitness center, multiple pools, a clubroom, and a kids’ splash park. Not only that, but the Canyon Club is a wireless hot spot, so residents can keep in touch while relaxing at the pool. These exceptional amenities are just a part of why this community continues to make its mark on the Inland Empire’s new-home market.

Fairway Canyon appeals to homebuyers across the board, whether they’re looking for a first home, second home, or a vacation getaway. The community features a diverse array of top selling neighborhoods, including Veranda by JD Pierce Company, Palmetto by Lennar ei. Augusta by Lennar ei,  Broadstone by Lennar ei, Eagle Crest by Standard Pacific Homes, and Medallion by MBK Homes. The single-family homes span from approximately 1,959 to 3,800 square feet and offer three to five bedrooms. Prices begin in the high $300,000s.
